The Cougars played San Diego State today and we couldn't pass up the opportunity to cheer on our team. Before the game we went to a tailgate that was sponsored by the Alumni Association.
Cherish competed in a hula-hoop competition. Everyone won a pom-pom. Cherish was more than excited. She loves to sing the Cougar Fight Song with us and pretend she is a cheerleader.
We were able to go right down to where the Cougars entered the field.
The girls had so much fun watching the game. When we first got there, before we got to our seats, the band was playing and Izzy stopped got really excited and ask "What's that? A football game?" She cheered them on and she shouted "Go Cougars!!"
It was a great game.
The first half we were surrounded by Aztec fans but we scouted out a spot where we would be closer to the field and surrounded by our fellow Cougars. It was a great move. We had a harder time seeing what was actually going on down on the field but Cherish was able to interact with Cosmo and see the cheerleaders.

After church today Nathan was complaining that everyone went to the game except us. We're jealous! :)
