When he got tired he just moved down the pier to find new faces. Cherish followed him ofcoarse. She was very intrigued but she didn't want to get too close.

Happy New Years
Every year on New Years Day we go down to the beach. It has been a wonderful tradition that we have enjoyed. It is a great way to welcome the new year and reflect on the old one. Over the years we have seen rain, sun and fog but warm or cold it is something we enjoy.
This year there was a very friendly pelican. He was possing for pictures with the masses.

Awesome tradition! We may have to copy you next year. :) Our tradition is to eat snack food/appetizers for dinner. Matt's family does that and watches football. We aren't huge football fans so we watched a kid's movie we hadn't seen before. :)
It looks beautiful! I know that sounds funny but I love the foggy weather and the ocean together. Spencer would have loved the pelican where as Madelyn wouldn't have cared too much for him.
