Christmas Morning came bright and early this year or at least it felt that way since we didn't get to sleep until well after 2AM. The girls got up at 7:30. I guess that is pretty good.
We receive a surprise visit from the big man himself. Jose's dad, Tata (as known by Cherish and Izzy) came to bring some holiday cheer. It was a complete surprise.
Don't you love our fireplace. I especially love that we don't have to worry about the kids getting burned, cleaning up after it or cutting logs for the fire.
We finally found a Santa that Izzy likes. Since Mama and Tata had come with the Santa suit we decided to spread the holiday cheer. Jose loved that he could stand on the street corner and wave and EVERYONE waved back.
This is usually what Izzy looks like when she is anywhere near Santa. She is not his biggest fan.
After opening presents at home we went to Grandma and Grandpa Call's for Breakfast. 
We have the same thing every year. Pancakes with sour cream and strawberries. There is also whipped cream for those who can't brave the sour cream but I recommend it, very tastie.

*oh and Alexis...yeah she'll be 10 months old next week. she was walking at 9! so didn't want her to walk that early but there was no stopping her!
It looks like Christmas was a joy and I love the Santa suit. Perhaps one of these years we will be back for the holidays, if I can stand to haul everything with me!
