Our Beautiful Girls

We had a wonderful Easter Morning. I just have to share pictures of the girls all dressed up. They are just too cute. I can't believe how big Cherish is getting. She is really growing up.
I LOVE this picture. Cherish is such a wonderful big sister and is always looking out for Izzy.
Izzy didn't want to take pictures so we got her to smile by getting her to pretend she was going to tickle Cherish. It is one of her favorite things to do.

Easter Morning

Easter Morning we woke up and started to look for the eggs.Izzy really had it down. She was collecting them faster than Cherish.
They got water guns in their baskets. They had so much fun with them.

Instead of Candy we put coupons in Cherish's Eggs. It was a great idea. She got so excited when she realized that they were coupons for things she likes to do like, a trip to the park, a playdate with a friend, trip to the beach, dinner at Ruby's... She loved it so much and there was less candy...win, win.

Before going to Church the girls had a little fun with the grass from the baskets. It ws everywhere. Here we are a week later and I'm still finding it on the floor.

Happy Easter

Every year our ward primary has an egg hunt at their Easter Party. This is the first year that Izzy has been able to participate. Last year she was just too little. So they gave all the kids under 4 a 30 second head start. For Izzy and her new legs that just wasn't any time at all. I was walking with her and by the time we got to egg after egg they were already gone. Jose took it upon him self to take her and run. I love the hold .She didn't know what to do at first but she quickly got the hang of it.
She loved taking the eggs out of the bag and filling it back up. She loved it even more once she realized that there was candy in the eggs.
The Easter Bunny even showed up to say hello. I'm always amazed that Izzy isn't more afraid of the large costumes. After Santa Clause I thought she would not want anything to do with any one else but she always runs up and gives a big hug.
I couldn't believe how big Cherish is getting. She is one of the big kids. She even found this egg in the ivy.

My New Friend

This week Jose and I bought this wonderful little machine. It is a portable washing machine that attaches to a faucet and drains through the sink also. This week I've been able to do all my laundry in my apartment. I don't know how or why I have lived this long without it. We also got a portable dryer that uses 110v. It is fabulous. The dryer does take some time to dry but it gets the job done. We got it used on craigslist. I would recommend it to anyone.

WARNING!!! The Following are Disturning Images

There has been a great debate in our house as to whether or not to post this but Angela this one is for you. Our sweet little wonderful Izzy has some issues that are just not that pleasant. There is something about the bath that causes her to poop. I don't know if it is the water or the buoyancy she feel on her tummy but at least twice a month she will alleviate herself in the bath tub. It's getting a little old. I'm planning a strike. Maybe I'll just stop bathing her. There is an idea. I don't think that will go over too well. Cherish has stopped wanting to bathe with her. Poor little girl, she has been in the tub and jumps up screaming. We have to pull Izzy out, empty the tub, get out the bleach, scrub everything down. Get Izzy back in, scrub her off and then let Cherish take a shower to clean off. It has become quite the hassle.

I thought I was making progress when I put Izzy in the tub and she started shaking her finger at me saying, "No Pooh Pooh." I thought finally I'm getting through to her...no such luck. Maybe I'll start bathing her in swim diapers. That's an idea.Jose thought I was gross posting this so I put in the cleanest images I have.
You think she looks unimpressed. You should see my face.

She has had such issues her entire life. This pic is from out trip to Utah when Jose ran the St George Marathon and we stopped in Vegas on the way home. Izzy messed her pants so bad is was dripping out the bottom of her pants off her heal. That whole outfit went in the trash. I really loved those pants. I still miss them. When she was a cute little sweet baby and I was changing her diaper in the middle of the night she would take that chance to do it again. There were a couple of times that it was so bad it would spray all over me. If I never get pooped on again it will not be soon enough. I could go on and on but I will spare you any further details.

Growing Up!

Every time I turn around Cherish is growing up. I don't recall giving her permission. First the glasses aged her and now this. This is our before shot. Here is the after. She looks so stinking cute with her new hair cut. I can't believe how curly her hair is either.
It's strait in the front and curly in the back. It's a lot easier to do also.
We went up to visit a friend that used to live in the ward and fit in a wonderful haircut for both of us too. It was great to get up there to see her. It was great to see you Angela. We will have to come back again.
It took Cherish and her boys a couple of minutes to warm up to each other again but once they did they got along fantastic planing and scheming. We should have known when all was quiet they were up to something. We found them hiding in the closet with this open bowl of cookie dough. Why get mad when you can take a picture?

Puzzleing?

Last weekend Jose and I decided to work on a puzzle that we got to remind us of our trip to New York. The box said it was 2000 pieces but Jose counted and it was really 2148 pieces and let me tell you every one of them counted. We started Friday night and didn't finish until Monday. Every night was stayed up until well after 1AM and we spent a large portion of the day Saturday and Sunday working on the puzzle. We spent at least 20 hours working on it but hey WE FINISHED!!!

Cherish helped put a couple of pieces together and it really wasn't easy to put together. Many of the pieces looked the same. Izzy even tried to help but her help consisted of breaking it apart as quickly as she could and running away. She thought it was very funny to see us jump up and chase after her. It's amazing that after all was said and done we had every piece.
