Growing Up!

Every time I turn around Cherish is growing up. I don't recall giving her permission. First the glasses aged her and now this. This is our before shot.Here is the after. She looks so stinking cute with her new hair cut. I can't believe how curly her hair is either.
It's strait in the front and curly in the back. It's a lot easier to do also.
We went up to visit a friend that used to live in the ward and fit in a wonderful haircut for both of us too. It was great to get up there to see her. It was great to see you Angela. We will have to come back again.
It took Cherish and her boys a couple of minutes to warm up to each other again but once they did they got along fantastic planing and scheming. We should have known when all was quiet they were up to something. We found them hiding in the closet with this open bowl of cookie dough. Why get mad when you can take a picture?

Puzzleing?

Last weekend Jose and I decided to work on a puzzle that we got to remind us of our trip to New York. The box said it was 2000 pieces but Jose counted and it was really 2148 pieces and let me tell you every one of them counted. We started Friday night and didn't finish until Monday. Every night was stayed up until well after 1AM and we spent a large portion of the day Saturday and Sunday working on the puzzle. We spent at least 20 hours working on it but hey WE FINISHED!!!


Cherish helped put a couple of pieces together and it really wasn't easy to put together. Many of the pieces looked the same. Izzy even tried to help but her help consisted of breaking it apart as quickly as she could and running away. She thought it was very funny to see us jump up and chase after her. It's amazing that after all was said and done we had every piece.

Happy Birthday Tata!!

To Celebrate his Birthday Cherish and I took Jose's dad to Disneyland for his birthday. It was so much fun to go with him. He hadn't been in close to 20 years. jose came and met us after work to finish off the night. Happy Birthday Tata!! Thanks for spending the day with us.

Glasses

Our little Cherish just got glasses. I can't believe how old she looks with them. She just grew up 4 years. When we took her in for her 5 year check up the doctor said we needed to take her in to get her eyes checked. At the time she wasn't very helpful with the exam and it didn't seam that the prescription helped her at all. When she started to complain about seeing colorful squiggly lines in her vision I decided it was time to take her in again. Apparently she is as blind as a bat in one of her eyes.

Disneyland

On Cherish's Birthday we surprised her by picking her up from school and talking her to Disneyland. Jose took a half day and came with me to pick her up. She was sooo excited to see him there. She always makes me laugh.

It was a perfect day to go. We decided to take the leap and get season passes. On your birthday you get in free so we used Cherish's free ticket toward her season pass. It's been a week and a half since we got our passes and we will be going for the third time today :)

For the last three years we have taken Cherish to the Rainforest Cafe on her Birthday. She loves the place, not because the food it great, because it isn't but she loves the atmosphere. This year we went to the one at Downtown Disney.

Izzy makes me laugh. I just love this picture. She is so expressive.

Walking

Check it out!!! Izzy is among the Walking. Over the last week or two she has really been starting to walk more. I can say it is official, Izzy is walking.
